You're in safe hands with us!

CSDI enhances the local construction industry with a unique customer centric approach based on high quality truss design and engineering expertise. Without sacrificing quality, we thoroughly review all designs ensuring loading conditions are met while meeting your tight deadlines. Our vast local and international experience coupled with our huge stock of lumber, plates and USP connectors helps avoid unnecessary construction delays in the field.

LUMBER

Roof & Floor Trusses

CSDI is one of the largest manufacturers of floor and roof trusses on island.  We have developed solid relationships with external engineering and truss plate supply partners who work diligently to ensure our trusses meet or exceed all windspeed and seismic load requirements enabling a smooth transition through the Planning and Building Control process.  Our local and international supply chain partners are committed reputable companies with a shared philosophy to provide the highest quality products in our industry. Our local truss designers add great value to the design process by ensuring accuracy in loading and dimensioning.  Each step of the process is thoughtfully managed to ensure quality fabrication and timely delivery.

Auxiliary Products: Furniture, Barn Doors

Our interior barn doors are made from solid wood that is pressure treated lumber and can last a lifetime! They come in varying designs and are well built for the humid Caribbean environment. Prices range between $1,199 including hardware for more traditional designs to $1,499 for some of the intricate and painted styles. Because we manufacture all products locally, we can accommodate any design, stain, or color of choice. We also offer a variety of door handles. Alternatively, if you want to make your own statement, we manufacture custom pieces for any architectural effect.

STEEL

Trusses

TPS can manufacture both roof and floor trusses in steel but also can make the entire steel building meeting required loads and Codes.  Floor trusses can span up to 26’ and are not subject to the depth limitations of lumber trusses.  They provide a solid and squeak-free flooring surface which can be finished by traditional methods or using aerated concrete panels.  As with lumber trusses there is no real span limitation on steel roof trusses.

Components (Stud & Track)

TPS produces a range stud and track sizes with a choice of        profiles and gauge thicknesses for internal partitions available for bulk sale to Contractors. Complementing our steel build systems, our commercial grade steel frames are available in standard lengths, 25 and 20 gauge, in 1 5/8”, 2 ½”, 3 5/8”and 6” profiles.  We also offer custom length 3 5/8” profile in 50KSI steel. Heavier gauges (16g, 18g and 20g) as well as heavier coatings (G115) are also available.

SHEDS

TPS custom fabricate sheds per the client’s requirement, but we also have a selection of available sheds in varying sizes, some of which are clad externally in varying degrees. We can design these to mount upon pads or without, depending upon whether a slab is available.

BUILDINGS

The steel framing software facilitates manufacture of the entire structure from top to bottom, with openings and intermediate floors to any desirable custom size or load capacity. Custom designs are produced locally in Cayman from high yield strength 50ksi steel coil with a far superior G115 coating than usually offered. Complete confidence is assured with the structural integrity of the steel, and the superior coating. The inherent trueness and light weight of steel, along with the ability to fabricate panels under factory conditions, makes installation easier, more economical and a significantly faster process. Our CAD based engineering software allows us to incorporate reinforcing members, shear wall or flitch beams. Where higher wind loads, higher floors or longer spans are desired, the use of hot rolled steel sections may be necessary forming a hybrid design with CFS.  Being non-combustible, insurers rate steel framed buildings as Class B, less of an insurance risk than those of timber.
