Caribbean Services and Development Inc. Ltd (CSDI Ltd.) has grown from a traditional manufacturer of timber roof and floor trusses into a vertically integrated full-service provider of engineered build solutions. Under the Truss Plant Structures Ltd. (TPS) brand, CSDI is a disruptor in the construction industry building on essential timber products to now offer two new products manufactured locally in the Cayman Islands. Along with engineered steel trusses and cold formed steel buildings, we produce two grades of aluminum standing seam roofing right here in Cayman, and for the first time offer installation of the entire custom designed systems.
Leveraging the groundbreaking combination of design and build software with a robust manufacturing system, TPS has partnered with the global leader in cold formed steel frame to bring this cutting-edge technology to the Caribbean. We have coupled RAM with this integrated design and build software to offer attractive and economic options to provide complete cold-formed steel structures in Cayman and to the wider Caribbean market. The dynamism and flexibility of our steel technology application allows for a myriad of build options from model homes to high end luxury residences, multi-family, multistory dwellings, industrial and commercial buildings. Our engineered factory-controlled panel fabrication system drastically reduces construction time and immeasurably improves the quality of construction. TPS also custom design residences, commercial buildings, containers, sheds and shade systems and even pool furniture to allow residents to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean Climate year-round.
Complementing our commercial, industrial, and residential steel buildings, a core offering of TPS are our high-quality stud & track framing components in 20g & 25g gauges and four profiles – 1 5/8”, 2½”, 3 5/8” & 6”
With over 50 years combined experience, our team will direct their professional expertise to ensure build solutions are accurately and efficiently engineered and manufactured for Category 5 hurricane winds, earthquake resistance, and relevant load conditions. Roofing for low slope structures can be facilitated with 20” wide panels and 1” tall mechanical seaming, or for higher gradients, our 1 ¾” snap lock seam 18” panels provide a really attractive finish. Both meet or exceed Cayman and Florida Code requirements.
